Open Source Advocate and CakePHP Evangelist

About me

I've been involved in professional Web development for over 10 years, from high-iteration start-ups to large-scale enterprise and mobile applications. I love distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, API-centric design, and enjoy challenging problems which push and stretch infrastructure to it's limits, or explore new areas of interaction and human experience. I've contributed to Open Source since 2008. I'm a core member of CakePHP, the organizer of CakeFest (annual CakePHP conference) and a speaker at international events. I'm also an author of the CakePHP 2 Application CookBook, published by Packt Publishing (ISBN 978-1-78216-008-3), as well as specifications, such as the Extended Hyper-text Transfer Protocol (XHTTP) or the Documentation Markup Language (DocML).
